Hongming Dong (东红明) – Postdoc Fellow

Biography

Hongming did her bachelor in Bioengineering at Yangtze University in Jinzhou, Hubei. She then joined Nongyue He’s lab at the Hunan University of Technology and the Southeast University as a Master student, studying the multiplexed nucleic acid detection of diarrheagenic Escherichia coli under Song Li. After that, she went to join Naibo Yang’s group at the Beijing Genomics Institution-Shenzhen and the University of Chinese Academy of Science as a PhD student, studying the genome of shark IgNAR loci. In 2022, she joined the BeiGene as a research investigator, working on techniques of antibody discovery for cancer treatment. In 2024, she joined Xi Chen’s lab at the Southern University of Science and Technology as a Postdoc, studying the epigenetic changes during early embryogenesis.
